The 3 Numbers Every Home-Services Owner Should Track Weekly

Forget the 40-metric dashboard. These three numbers tell you everything about pipeline health and what to fix first.

Most operators we meet have a dashboard with 40 metrics and a gut feeling. The dashboard is not wrong, it is just noise. Three numbers tell you what to fix this week.

1. Booked-call rate from qualified lead

Of the leads that match your service and zone, how many turn into a calendar booking? If this is under 35%, the problem is almost always speed to lead or front-office scripting, not your ads.

2. Show rate

Of the booked calls, how many actually answer or show up? Under 70% means your reminder cadence is broken. Two SMS and one email between booking and call should be the floor.

3. Closed-deal rate from completed call

Of the calls that happen, how many become paying jobs? This is the closer's number. If it is under 25% on warm inbound, the issue is the offer, the proposal, or the follow-up sequence, not the lead.

Why this beats a bigger dashboard

Every other metric is downstream of these three. CAC, LTV, ROAS, payback period, every one of them moves when the three move. Track these weekly in your standup and you will know where to spend the next hour of your week.
